What degree programs are offered in the Northwest, and which one is right for me? Two information days at the Northwest Alliance universities will answer these questions: the University Information Day at the University of Oldenburg and the Information Day for Prospective Students at the University of Bremen.
On June 19, 2026, the University of Oldenburg will open its doors for the University Information Day. The day features an information fair with numerous booths, overviews of all degree programs, interdisciplinary information sessions on various topics, panel discussions with students, as well as campus and library tours.
The University of Bremen invites those interested to its Information Day for Prospective Students (ISI) on June 24, 2026. With a diverse program ranging from academic guidance to presentations by the faculties, as well as tours and campus visits, the University of Bremen showcases just how diverse and future-oriented its range of offered study programs is.
Together, both universities cover a wide range of disciplines. While Oldenburg offers a degree in medicine, for example, Bremen offers a degree in law. Prospective students from the region and beyond are cordially invited to get to know the universities in person, ask questions, and learn about the diverse range of study options.
Since both universities are participating in both information days, prospective students can learn about what Oldenburg and Bremen have to offer at each location. They will also learn everything about the cooperative degree programs that both universities offer jointly: Teacher education students at the University of Oldenburg have the opportunity to study French, Spanish, and Geography in Bremen. Teacher education students at the University of Bremen can take courses in Dutch Linguistics and Literary Studies, Slavic Studies, or Material Culture: Textiles in Oldenburg.
