Leading marine geophysicist Masako Tominaga is joining the University of Bremen as a professor of marine geology, coming from the renowned Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in the United States. She will join the Faculty of Geosciences and MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences.
Greater resilience for electricity and heating grids: The University of Oldenburg is involved in two of the five newly funded projects by the Energy Research Centre of Lower Saxony (efzn). The University of Bremen is participating as an associated partner in one of the projects.
